The anime "Chi.: On the Movements of the Earth" is based on a popular manga by Uoto, which swept various manga awards including the Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. It depicts those who believed in the possibility of the heliocentric theory and risked their beliefs and lives to prove it.

This work, which has become a hot topic for its passionate drama of passing on the will to prove the heliocentric theory to the next generation, was revisited in a special program commemorating the start of the second half of the series. In the program, Konishi and Hitomi reflected on the story so far, highlighting memorable scenes they selected.

In Chapter 2, Episode 9, Hitomi selects the scene where Yorenta tells Okuji, "Words are like miracles." Reflecting on the experience, Hitomi shares, "Even though reading and writing have become part of our daily lives, when I read this line in the original work, I was struck by the thought that 'indeed, being able to read is truly a precious thing.' Since my job involves reading words and expressing them, I felt a sense of reverence."

She continues, "Because of this scene, Okuji learns to read, and watching him take further action afterward makes me happy." Konishi nods in agreement, adding, "Everything is connected," and expresses admiration, saying, "It's amazing how Fish Toyotaka comes up with such wonderful stories."

Koniishi also picked up the scene from the same Episode 9, where Oxie observed Venus and said "it's full". When asked about his role, he said, "Rather than trying to play this character, or become this person, I felt more like I wanted to enter this world and see it from Oxie's eyes. It wasn't so much that I was playing Oxie, but rather that the character of Oxie was leading the play, or I felt like I was being pulled along by Oxie." Koniishi was talking about how he became one with Oxie.

Here too, he talked about feeling a change in Oxie's state of mind, "From the idea that we are at the bottom and always looked down upon from above, we were in our dark box all the time, (looking at Venus) a single ray of hope came in, and I wondered if it's okay to have freedom and hope. I felt that it was expressing such a place." "Oxie, who had been introverted until now, took a step forward and said, 'I'll do it myself.' So I think that's also part of a good turning point for him," he said, talking about what left an impression on him.

Furthermore, a comment arrived from Maaya Sakamoto, who played Rafaou, a key character in Chapter 1. Among the favorite scenes mentioned from each of Chapters 1 and 2, Sakamoto mentioned Rafaou's monologue in his debut scene in Chapter 1, saying, "He's playing an upbeat young man in front of everyone, but in contrast to that, he's reeling off arrogant monologues. The prime example of this is 'Chore~!', which was a line with impact even when I read the original work."

Subsequently, when the scene in question was shown, the three people in the studio reacted to Rafaou's 'Chore~!' with comments like 'Nice!', 'The voice of Chole was good', and 'That was the best', eliciting laughter and creating a harmonious atmosphere in the studio.

In addition, Konishi and Jinmi talked extensively about their character creation, the atmosphere at the recording studio, and the highlights of the second half of the series. In the end, the two sent a message to the viewers. Jinmi said, "Each episode is really dense, and it's a very deep work where you can't miss any part. We'll continue with the second half, and I'd be happy if we could keep this heat going together with everyone." Konishi said, "We hope you'll follow us to the end to see how our thoughts from episode 1 connect and what kind of story it will become in the second half." With that, the program ended on a high note.
