The Summer Hikaru Died's Large Transit Advertisement Appears in Shibuya! Popular Youth Horror Manga Set to be Animated

A large transit advertisement for the popular youth horror manga, "The Summer Hikaru Died," which is scheduled to be animated in the summer of 2025, has appeared in Shibuya.

"The Summer Hikaru Died" is a youth horror story depicting the experiences of an ordinary high school boy, Yoshiki, who encounters various mysterious incidents in his surroundings while living with a mysterious "something" that imitates his childhood friend, Hikaru. The series has surpassed 3 million copies in circulation, and the story, filled with the madness of the "something" and the boy, continues to captivate many readers, finally leading to its long-awaited animation.

The large transit advertisement displayed from January 13, 2025, at Shibuya Station features a monochrome design using only manga frames, centered around the characters Yoshiki and Hikaru.
