The sequel to the anime "Witchy Precure!" titled "Witchy Precure!! ~MIRAI DAYS~" (referred to as "MahoPri 2") has started airing its Episode 4 from February 1st. "MahoPri 2" is a sequel to the 2016 series "Witchy Precure!" and depicts events several years after the original series concluded. The story follows 20-year-old university student Mirai Asahina (voiced by Rie Takahashi) and 19-year-old Riko as they once again transform into PreCure to face a new crisis threatening both the magical and non-magical worlds.

Determined to thwart Ail's dubious scheme and protect Hisui, Mirai and Riko are on a mission. But where could Ail be? The only clue is Mirai's vision of Ail standing in front of a bookshelf wearing an apron. While helping others as magical girls, they search for his whereabouts. When Riko treats Hisui like a child, she sulks, and Ail appears before her. He combines the powers of a blanket-type monster with the minions of Deusmast, unleashing a more powerful monster than ever. Mirai and Riko transform immediately to protect Hisui but struggle against the formidable combined monster. Surprisingly, it is Hisui who turns the tide. Her desire to protect the two intensifies, and when she wields the wand Mirai gave her, a dazzling light emits from the tip, driving the monster away. In the light, Hisui sees the figure of Kotoha.
