The March 2025 issue of "Monthly Shonen Magazine," marking the third installment in its 50th-anniversary celebration, was released on February 6, 2025. Coinciding with this, a 50th-anniversary commemorative promotional video (PV) titled "Tried Rapping the Works of Gekkan Maga" featuring a song by voice actor Natsuki Hanae was unveiled.

The released 50th-anniversary PV, "Tried Rapping the Works of Gekkan Maga," was created to promote broader awareness of Gekkan Maga's 50-year history.

This PV features a 120-second rap that highlights the titles of various works serialized over Gekkan Maga's 50-year history. It is performed by the talented and popular voice actor Natsuki Hanae. Hanae is known for playing the lead role of Kousei Arima in the "Monthly Shonen Magazine" series "Your Lie in April" and is also famous for his popular YouTube channel.

To commemorate the release of this promotional video, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Monthly Magazine is hosting a campaign where 50 original QUO cards will be given away to lucky winners until the 28th.

Additionally, a special one-shot project titled "Youth Monthly Shonen Magazine," featuring a lineup of celebrated series that have shaped its 50-year history, is being introduced. The March issue includes "The Manga Artist Life of Sadayasu Kei with Magoroku" by Sadayasu Kei. This anniversary commemorative one-shot project will be available for viewing on "Monthly Magazine Base (Comic Days)" starting from 12:00 PM on February 11.

The cover of the March issue features "Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange" (Masahito Soda), with its latest 11th volume set for release on the 17th. The issue also includes front color pages of "DEAD ROCK" (Hiro Mashima) and center color pages of "Mutsu Crest: Mutsu-san Is Super Strong?!" (Original story by Masatoshi Kawahara, manga by Toshiro Kai).
