Katsuyuki Konishi, the voice acting world's top manga enthusiast, introduces his top recommended mangas one after another!

This broadcast, in collaboration with the Comic Seymour-hosted manga festival "Everyone's Choice!! Electronic Comic Award 2025," where readers vote to decide the next breakout work, featured guest voice actor Katsuyuki Konishi, who is a self-proclaimed manga enthusiast, reading between 200 to 300 mangas a month at times.
First, a segment titled "Katsuyuki Konishi's 2025 Top Recommended Manga!" was held, where Konishi introduced mangas that are expected to trend in 2025. Responding to the staff's request to "choose mangas that no one knows yet," Konishi carefully selected promising works from those with only one or two volumes published.

When Hanae commented, "If the ones that came out this time get animated, people will be like 'Konishi-san is amazing!'", Konishi confidently replied, "They will definitely be animated! They're interesting," and introduced three "next big" mangas. Both Namikawa and Hanae were captivated by the intriguing stories, exclaiming, "Sounds interesting!" "I'm super curious!" "The perspective is interesting!" "If it's like this, I'll end up buying them all!" with sparkling eyes.
Moreover, Hanae asked Konishi, who shared his love for manga, "When you get offers for works based on original manga at anime auditions, do you think, 'Oh, it's finally here!'?" Konishi answered, "It happens. I've read almost all works with original manga," and humorously added, "But I rarely get called for auditions," drawing laughter.

Konishi, expressing the jealousy unique to manga lovers, said, "When you like manga, you can easily record audition tapes because you know the manga, but it's stressful because more often than not, you don't get selected, or don't even get auditions! I watch the anime thinking, 'You guys probably didn't read it at all!'" Namikawa and Hanae, laughing heartily, empathized, saying, "So true!" "It's frustrating, right?" "I should know it best."

The program also featured segments like "Challenge to Manga King Katsuyuki Konishi! Missing Word Quiz," where Namikawa and Hanae attempted to guess lines from famous scenes in popular mangas, and "Manga Dr. Katsuyuki Konishi," where the manga-savvy "Manga Dr. Konishi" prescribed the perfect manga for the troubled Namikawa and Hanae.

In "Manga Dr. Katsuyuki Konishi," Konishi introduced mangas tailored to concerns like Hanae's "I've been mentally tired lately. Is there a manga that can refresh my mind?" and Namikawa's "I've been having sleepless nights, so I want to read a manga that helps me sleep soundly," passionately presenting them. Both responded, "Just listening to the explanation made me feel a bit refreshed," "I'll read it tonight!" "Thank you, doctor," with smiles.
Having thoroughly introduced various mangas, Konishi, praised by the two, who said, "It was fun listening to you!" "We could feel your passion for manga," exclaimed, "Ohhh! Let the production companies know!" once again drawing laughter.
