"COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing" is an animated film currently being screened since January 17, 2025 (Fri). The original work is a story about finding one's own song and the "true feelings" of boys and girls, set in the town of 'Shibuya', where music-centered subculture is thriving, and the mysterious space 'Sekai' where people's "true feelings" are reflected. The app game "Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku" (abbreviated as "Proseka"), which also features virtual singers including 'Hatsune Miku', is the basis of the movie.
In this film, a new 'Hatsune Miku' who does not appear in the app game meets the characters of 'Proseka' and grows up. The story is completely original and is depicted by the animation studio P.A.WORKS.
