On the official X of the ABEMA Anime Channel, the top 3 most commented scenes during the airing of Episode 39 (Season 2, Episode 15) "Frozen Treats" of 'The Apothecary Diaries' were announced.

'The Apothecary Diaries' is an anime series based on the novel of the same name by Natsu Hyuuga. It is set in the back palace, where a young girl named Maomao, who becomes a "poison taster" and uses her knowledge of poisons and medicine to solve various challenging incidents that occur in the court, creating a mystery-solving entertainment in the imperial harem.

The series has also been adapted into manga in two monthly magazines, 'Big Gangan' (Square Enix) and 'Sunday GX' (Shogakukan), with a cumulative total of 40 million copies in circulation. The TV anime has been airing continuously for two cours since October 2023, gaining popularity for Maomao's unique detective drama and her comical interactions with the handsome eunuch, Jinshi. It even reached number one on the X trend. The second season is currently airing since January 10, 2025, continuing for two consecutive cours, and is gaining further momentum.
