In episode 8 of the anime “Please Put Them On, Takamine-san!”, which began airing sequentially from May 21, the new character Erie Evergreen (voiced by Sumire Uesaka) makes her full-scale appearance. Erie, a stunning beauty active as a reader model, startled viewers with her “overly bold actions,” prompting reactions like “What are you doing in a public place!?”

In episode 8, “You Seem to Be Getting Along So Well,” Kōshi Shirota (voiced by Daisuke Kasuya) is reunited with his elementary school classmate, Erie. Erie, who is biracial and has a great figure, is active as a reader model. Her personality seems innocent and cheerful, but there were moments when she got uncomfortably close to Shirota!

While the two were eating ice cream together, Erie accidentally dripped some melted ice cream on Shirota’s neck. Then, Erie actually ran her tongue along Shirota’s neck to lick off the ice cream, nonchalantly apologizing, “Sorry, sorry. I guess you’re not supposed to do that to boys,” and “Licking someone’s neck is definitely out, huh?” Shirota blushed bright red and retorted, “No! Girls don’t do that to each other either!” and “Basically, you shouldn’t lick other people’s bodies!”

Erie’s excessively bold actions stirred up the internet, with comments like, “I’m totally jealous of Shirota-kun,” “What are you doing in public!?” and “Ellie is so cute.”

“Please Put Them On, Takamine-san!” is based on the manga of the same name by Yūichi Hiiragi, serialized in Monthly Gangan Joker (Square Enix). It’s a romantic comedy involving the student council president Takane Takamine (voiced by Yurika Kubo), who has the ability to “erase things she’s done by removing her underwear,” and the average high-school boy Kōshi Shirota.

[Synopsis]
The person who called out to Kōshi at his cram school was his elementary school classmate Erie. Invited by Erie, who remains as innocent as she was in elementary school, Kōshi ends up having a nostalgic water balloon fight with her. Erie, completely defenseless, ends up soaked with no bra and exposes her skin, leaving Kōshi unsure where to look. As expected, Takamine-san catches them in the act!?
