[Photos/Images] ABEMA Anime Festival to be Held in Shibuya This Year! MIYASHITA PARK and Surrounding Areas to Serve as Special Venues 1st

The large-scale event “ABEMA Anime Festival 2025 supported by Comic Cmoa” has been officially announced. It will take place over four days, from Saturday, September 20 through Tuesday (a national holiday), September 23, 2025.

The “ABEMA Anime Festival” is the largest anime event delivered by ABEMA’s Anime Channel, featuring original ABEMA programming and collaboration projects with popular anime titles. The first festival was held in 2024 around the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower area, bringing together 91 voice actors and guest participants, as well as collaborations with 28 works, with approximately 540,000 people joining the event (including visitors to the venue and viewers on ABEMA during the period).

This year’s theme is “A mountain of anime love,” and the event will be held in the Shibuya area, primarily at MIYASHITA PARK and nearby locations. A special event stage will appear on the rooftop of MIYASHITA PARK, hosting talk events with voice actors from highly anticipated new anime titles. In addition, there will be photogenic spots perfect for snapping pictures and sales of exclusive merchandise you’ll want to get your hands on. Overflowing with content, the event will transform the entire Shibuya area into a world full of anime.

Participating works and voice actors will be announced sequentially, and the latest information will be made available on the official ABEMA Anime Festival website.

The event’s key visual has also been unveiled. Since Shibuya is a place where young people and global tourists gather, the festival’s lively “Neo-Japanese” pop style expresses that this is a celebration of Japanese-born “ANIME” culture.
