Special Program Featuring the Cast of Afro's Anime "mono" (from "Laid-Back Camp") Announced

It has been announced that a special program featuring the cast of the TV anime "mono," titled "TV Anime 'mono': A Moment with mono," will air exclusively and for free on ABEMA on Saturday, June 7th at 11:00 PM.

"mono" is a popular four-panel manga series by Afro, known for "Laid-Back Camp," and is currently serialized in Manga Time Kirara Carat. The story depicts the daily lives of high school girls who belong to the "Cine-Photo Club," a club formed by merging the Photography Club and the Film Research Club, set against the scenic backdrop of Kofu city in Yamanashi Prefecture.

From April 2025, the TV anime is being broadcast every Saturday at midnight, with ABEMA streaming it simultaneously with television and offering the fastest web distribution. The series has been gaining popularity for its innovative direction and stunning visuals, such as panoramic nightscape photography using a 360° camera and simulated drone filming, as well as its heartwarming story.

In this special program "A Moment with mono," the cast members of the "Cine-Photo Club" including Haruna Mikawa (voice of Satsuki Amemiya), Aoi Koga (voice of An Kiriyama), and Hikaru Tono (voice of Sakurako Shikishima) will come together. In addition to a talk looking back on the story, there will also be variety segments inspired by the series, such as "Let's Fly a Drone!" and "Let's Enjoy mono Gourmet!"
