On May 27 (Tuesday) at 10:00 p.m., episode 6 of “Say You To Yo Asobi Tuesday” was broadcast on ABEMA’s Anime LIVE Channel.

In this episode, Hiro Shimono appeared as the Singer-Song Professor “L. Sistine” promoting the L-cysteine formulation product Heithiol (*). Strumming his guitar, Shimono announced, “I’ve come to Say You To Yo Asobi today to support everyone suffering from spots, overall fatigue (tiredness, sluggishness), or hangovers!” He livened up the show and spoke directly about the appeal of the Heithiol products, for which he serves as a commercial ambassador.

Miyu Irino, who had watched videos of Shimono playing “L. Sistine” in advance to prepare, commented, “The facial expressions are amazing—such expressive faces…” and “When you’re not confident with the guitar, you put on those faces, right?” Shimono replied, “It’s not that I’m not confident with the guitar! That’s what was requested. The director wanted to bring out the best of L. Sistine! So, it came down to facial expressions!”—revealing behind-the-scenes details as the studio erupted into laughter.

Next, in the segment “It’s Okay to Be Forgetful! Everyone’s Forgetfulness Grand Prize,” the show dug into Irino’s many episodes of forgetfulness, something he’s often mentioned on the program.

Irino recounted, “I have three keys (including spares) for one bicycle, but I’ve already lost one, and recently lost another, leaving me with just one. Each time I think, ‘If I lose this one, it’s over!’ but then I find one again… this keeps repeating and I hate it.” Shimono, listening beside him, held his head in his hands and asked, “Where does that come from? How do you keep losing things like that?”

Irino explained that his keys often end up in his pockets, bags, or tucked in between things, adding, “These days, you can lock your house or car with just a touch, but for bikes, you have to insert the key into the lock so it’s hard to keep it on you,” providing his reasons for repeatedly losing them. Shimono sensibly advised, “Why not use a dial lock instead?” However, Irino responded, holding his head, “But with numbers… I might forget the code. Just the other day, I forgot to put the battery pack of my electric bike on and rode off without it.” Shimono could only smile wryly at Irino’s endless tales of forgetfulness.

Then, a viewer shared an episode: “Back in high school, I often forgot to put chopsticks in my lunch box and would have to ask my teacher for disposable chopsticks.” Irino confessed, “I have so many chopsticks-related episodes that it honestly makes me sad.”

He continued, “When I was working on ‘Mobile Suit Gundam 00,’ bringing your own eco-friendly chopsticks was all the rage, so I had my own pair. But then I’d forget them at restaurants and have to drive back to get them,” to which Mamoru Miyano said, ‘That’s not eco-friendly at all!’” Shimono also chimed in, “That’s just uneconomical!” teasing him further.
