Fashion Aficionado Reiji Kawashima Produces a NEW Tomokazu Seki!? Tomokazu Seki Raves About Reiji Kawashima’s Original “Luxury Mode Street” Style

On ABEMA, “Say You To Yo Asobi Friday [Tomokazu Seki × Reiji Kawashima] #7” aired at 10 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025.

This broadcast featured the special segment “Emergency Feature! Let’s Hype Up Fridays Even More! Comment Boost Special.” In an effort to increase the number of comments on Fridays, the hosts played through a variety of segments, such as “Increase with Miracles! Human Tablecloth Pull,” “Increase with Melodious Voices! Serious Karaoke,” and “Increase with Live Changing! Reiji’s Seki Coordination.”

Live Costume Changes and Lotion... Tomokazu Seki & Reiji Kawashima Go All Out to Boost Comments!

First, with the idea that creating miracles would increase comment numbers, they tried “Increase with Miracles! Human Tablecloth Pull.” Kawashima transformed into a table, and Seki attempted the unprecedented “human tablecloth pull,” trying to slide a tablecloth out from under a glass filled with lotion without knocking it over. While Kawashima appeared bewildered by this outlandish challenge, Seki, inexplicably confident, declared, “I’m super skilled with tablecloth tricks! Leave it to me!”

Seki, however, ominously added, “If I fail, Kawashima will end up drenched, right? Don’t worry, I know my variety shows!” This made Kawashima nervously ask, “Wait!? Which way is this going?” In the end, as one might expect, Seki failed, leaving Kawashima thoroughly drenched in lotion.

But it didn’t end there—at Seki’s request for a retry saying, “Can I go one more time?” Kawashima once again became a victim of the lotion. As chaos ensued, with Kawashima panicking, “Sekiiiii! What’s happening to me?” the studio erupted in laughter. From the very first segment, the high-energy antics had viewers excited, with comments flooding in like “Starting strong, lol,” “As expected of Reiji-ru,” and “This is what Fridays are about!”

In the following “Increase with Melodious Voices! Serious Karaoke” segment, Kawashima showed off his “death voice,” while in “Increase with Healing! Feeding Each Other ‘Aaan’ Mogu-Mogu Time,” the two eagerly fed each other. In addition, during “Increase with Praise! Messages from Top Voice Actors,” where a message from Kawashima’s mentor, Subaru Kimura, was revealed, Kimura shared a touching story of how Seki once helped him with his kindness. Through both hilarious and heartwarming segments, they steadily earned more and more comments.

Further, with Kawashima’s personal project, “Increase with Live Changing! Reiji’s Seki Coordination,” the fashion-loving Kawashima selected outfits from his own wardrobe for Seki to change into on air. Seki enthusiastically agreed, saying, “I’ll totally do it!” Item after stylish item appeared, including a mesh top, a navy jacket featuring striking orange stitching, a vest, and more. Seki changed into them with slightly awkward, inexperienced movements.

Boots, a necklace, and finally “sunglasses that let you become a cocky voice actor” were added to complete Kawashima’s devised “Luxury Mode Street Seki.” For the practical Seki, who prefers not to carry a bag, the vest featured extra-large pockets. Seki was full of praise for Kawashima’s functional and stylish coordination: “This is cool! Super nice!” Viewers also shared rave comments, such as “NEW Seki,” “He looks so cool,” “Stylish uncle!” and “I hope they keep doing this!”

Additionally, Kawashima challenged his long-time rival, bodybuilder Annouimo, to a rematch, and a surprise segment was pulled on Kawashima himself. Before anyone realized, the program was already wrapping up. Ultimately, they achieved an impressive 32,000 comments—double their goal—leading both hosts to celebrate, saying, “It’s all thanks to everyone,” and “Thank you so much!” With excitement still high, the show came to a close.
