A Special Chapter 2.5 of "The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" Premieres in Weekly Shonen Magazine Issue 31!

Chapter 2.5 of "The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity," currently serialized on MagaPoke, will be published in Weekly Shonen Magazine Issue 31, which goes on sale Tuesday, July 2.

This work, created by Saka Mikami, is a popular series currently being serialized on MagaPoke, with over 5.6 million copies sold in total. The TV anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting on July 5.

In a certain town, there are two adjacent high schools. Chidori High School, an underachieving all-boys school where the so-called "idiots" gather, and the prestigious all-girls Kikyō Girls’ Academy. Rintarō Tsumugi, a strong-looking and reticent second-year student at Chidori High School, meets Kaoruko Waguri, who visits his family’s cake shop as a customer while he is helping out there. Although Rintarō feels at ease spending time with Kaoruko, she is in fact a student at Kikyō Girls’ Academy, which, despite being next door, thoroughly despises Chidori High...!? This is a vibrant youth school story about two people who are “so close yet so far apart!”

Chapter 2.5 of "The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity," debuting in Issue 31, is a brand new, specially drawn episode taking place between the original Chapters 2 and 3. It features a sweet, heart-fluttering mini-episode in which Kaoruko and Rintarō, who have only just met, interact at Rintarō’s family cake shop.
