Turbo Granny Appearing from the Hot Spring Takes 1st Place! Top 3 Most Commented Scenes from Episode 1 of Anime “DANDADAN Season 2”

The official ABEMA Anime Channel X account has announced the Top 3 most commented scenes from Episode 13 (Season 2, Episode 1) “This is the Great Serpent Legend, Isn’t It?” of “DANDADAN Season 2” during its broadcast.

“DANDADAN Season 2” is based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, currently serialized in “Shonen Jump+” (Shueisha). The story features Momo Ayase (voiced by Shion Wakayama), a high school girl born into a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Ken “Okarun” Takakura (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), who is obsessed with the occult. Together, they take on supernatural phenomena in this occult battle and coming-of-age story.

After the first season of the TV anime aired in October 2024, its unique battles themed around the occult and its deep story quickly became a hot topic, causing the cumulative number of copies of the original manga to surpass 10 million. Now airing from July 2025, Season 2 continues to attract attention as it follows the new battles of Momo, Okarun, and their friends.

ABEMA conducted an independent survey on the scenes that received the most comments from viewers during the late-night airing of Episode 13 (Season 2, Episode 1) “This is the Great Serpent Legend, Isn’t It?” on July 3 (Thursday). The results, “Top 3 Most Commented Scenes from ‘DANDADAN Season 2’ Episode 13,” have been published on the official ABEMA Anime Channel X account.
