In episode 119 of the anime “Chiikawa,” Hachiware (voiced by Makoto Tanaka) sings “BELIEVE” together with Chiikawa (voiced by Haruka Aoki). There have been comments pointing out that the lyrics of the song match the relationship between these two characters.

Episode 119 begins with a scene of Chiikawa and Hachiware running together. As they dash with smiles on their faces towards the “music spot,” they find that other friends have already gathered there ahead of them.

When the intro starts playing, Hachiware murmurs, “I wonder what song this is…” As the lyrics begin, Hachiware twitches her ears and then says, “Ah, it’s BELIEVE,” letting Chiikawa know, to which Chiikawa responds with a happy expression. From July 15, the new series of “Chiikawa” anime resumed airing as part of the “Mezamashi TV” (around 7:40 am) program. The ending sequence, featuring the updated version of “Hitorigotsu” sung by Hachiware, has been revamped.
