Announcement of the “LINE Manga 2025 First Half Rankings” Top 20: Medalist Takes First Place in Graphic novel, Kareta Hana ni Namida wo Tops the Serialization Ranking

The digital comics platform “LINE Manga” has released the “LINE Manga 2025 First Half Rankings,” listing the most popular works based on user support. In the Graphic novel (collected volumes) category, Medalist (Kodansha) secured the top spot, while the serialization ranking was led by Kareta Hana ni Namida wo (LINE Manga).

The “LINE Manga 2025 First Half Rankings” are based on multiple factors, including the number of readers, likes, and purchases for both serialized and Graphic novel works, and rank the works that received the most support from January 1 (Wednesday) to June 30 (Monday), 2025.

Medalist, which topped the Graphic novel ranking, is a figure skating manga that has also been greenlit for a second season of its TV anime. The story follows the protagonist Inori as she develops her talent, teaming up with Tsukasa, who grows as a coach, to pursue the glory of becoming a “Medalist.”

Kareta Hana ni Namida wo, the first-place winner in the serialization ranking, is an original webtoon. Despite only beginning its serialization in March 2025, this adult love story—acclaimed for its careful depiction of complex emotions—garnered immense popularity, claiming first place above many other well-known titles.

On LINE Manga, the major summer campaign “LINE Manga Utage (UTAGE) 2025 SUMMER” is being held until Thursday, August 21, 2025. By completing weekly quests, users can receive items. Additionally, events are being held each week, such as increased free chapters for over 150 works and the distribution of “gift cards” for more than 20 titles.
