Junya Enoki (Yūji Itadori) and Two Other Cast Members to Appear! Distribution of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" 5th Anniversary Special Program Confirmed

It has been decided that the "Jujutsu Kaisen" 5th Anniversary Special Program will be distributed on Sunday, August 31. In addition, to commemorate the anime's 5th anniversary, the first installment of the special "Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary Visual" drawn by animation studio MAPPA and the 5th anniversary logo have been unveiled.

Jujutsu Kaisen, the immensely popular comic by Gege Akutami, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump for six and a half years, has concluded its serialization and exceeded a total circulation of 100 million copies (including digital versions). The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021, and the franchise's first film, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0," became a huge hit with worldwide box office revenue of 26.5 billion yen. The second season of the TV anime, comprising the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident" arcs, aired from July to December 2023, receiving an enthusiastic response not only in Japan but around the world.

The "Jujutsu Kaisen Compilation Movie: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" is set for release on Friday, May 30, 2025. Additionally, a revival screening of "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" is scheduled for Friday, October 17. Furthermore, the production of a sequel covering the "Culling Game" arc has also been announced, bringing even more excitement to the franchise.

Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary Special Program to be Streamed on August 31!

Starting at 20:30 (JST) on Sunday, August 31, the “Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary Special Program” will be live-streamed to celebrate the 5th anniversary year since the first episode of the TV anime aired on October 3, 2020.

Junya Enoki (Yūji Itadori), Yūma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), and Asami Seto (Nobara Kugisaki) will appear in the program. The special will feature a segment looking back on the history of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, a corner on the smartphone game "Phantom Parade," and five major announcements tied to the 5th anniversary.

First Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary Visual drawn by MAPPA and Anniversary Logo Unveiled

In celebration of the anime's 5th anniversary, the first installment of the "Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary Visual" newly illustrated by production studio MAPPA, along with the 5th anniversary logo, has been revealed.

The visual radiates a festive atmosphere, featuring the students of Tokyo Jujutsu High including Yūji Itadori, as well as Satoru Gojō, Kento Nanami, and the students of Kyoto Jujutsu High, showcasing the unique personalities of each character.
