Set in a world after the hero's party has defeated the Demon King, it follows Frieren, a mage who has lived for over a thousand years and fought alongside the hero, as she embarks on a new journey meeting various people. The series has won numerous manga awards, and the total number of comic volumes sold has exceeded 24 million copies, making a huge impact among manga fans.

The TV anime adaptation, based on this manga, aired from September 2023 to March 2024, gaining widespread popularity both in Japan and abroad and receiving a tremendous response.
