Unique Details in Every Piece! Alice Gear Aegis Ryuko Tatsumi Cosplay Focuses on Silhouette

On July 27, 2025, Wonder Festival 2025 [Summer] was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. We present photos of kouzome, who participated in cosplay as Ryuko Tatsumi from Alice Gear Aegis, along with an interview about what aspects she focused on in her cosplay and her future goals.

—What inspired you to choose Ryuko Tatsumi from Alice Gear Aegis for your cosplay this time?

Kouzome: She’s currently my best favorite, and since it’s Wonder Festival, I wanted to try a costume that involves some degree of craftsmanship, so I chose this outfit.

—What aspects did you want to express with your cosplay this time, and what parts are you especially pleased with?

Kouzome: I paid special attention to the positioning of the different design segments and to the overall silhouette. There are a lot of small transitions in the costume, and on top of that, I had to add lines, which took a long time, but I think it turned out beautifully. Since I'm not very good at crafting parts, I struggled a lot with making them, but I’m glad I somehow managed to make it work.

—When did you first get into Alice Gear Aegis, and what do you find appealing about it?

Kouzome: I’ve been playing since around the spring of 2019. There are lots of attractive points: you can play on your smartphone with one hand or use a controller, there are interesting events and elaborate mini-games, and there are many cute costumes.

—If you have any goals for your future activities, could you share them with us?

Kouzome: It seems there aren't many people doing Alice Gear Aegis cosplay, so I hope to someday coordinate a group cosplay, and for now, I want to continue quietly at my own pace.
