The synopsis for Episode 19 of the anime "Kaiju No. 8" has been released, as well as the trailer for the "Bunkui Pass Subjugation Operation Arc".

Serialized in "Shonen Jump+" since July 2020, Naoya Matsumoto's hugely popular comic "Kaiju No. 8" has won numerous manga awards and, with 15 volumes published, has surpassed a total domestic circulation of 18 million copies (including digital versions). Its popularity is not limited to Japan; the series has also gained many fans overseas, especially in North America.

The protagonist, Kafka Hibino (voiced by Masaya Fukunishi), who once admired the "Japan Defense Force" that slays kaiju, awakens to the power to transform into a kaiju himself after an encounter with a mysterious small kaiju, setting the story in motion.

Chosen as the compatible host of "Kaiju No. 6," Reno Ichikawa inherits its power, becoming what is regarded as the "strongest and most dangerous" weapon. Having overcome the probation period imposed by the Fourth Unit's Captain, Jugo Ogata, Reno is about to enter his first real battle while equipped with the suit. Meanwhile, Iharu Furuhashi, another member of the Fourth Unit, has mixed feelings as he watches Reno's rapid growth.
