Anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 3: "Culling Game Part 1" to Air in January 2026 & Teaser PV Released! Special Theater-Edited Version × Advance Screening Also Announced

At the special program commemorating the 5th anniversary of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime, new information about Season 3 and the theatrical release was revealed.

First, a teaser PV for Season 3 was released, with the title "Culling Game Part 1." It was announced that the broadcast will begin in January 2026. The video opens with Yūji Itadori saying, "I can't be with everyone anymore," followed by an intense battle against Yuta Okkotsu, the protagonist of "Jujutsu Kaisen 0," depicted with the unique flair of animation. Other characters such as Megumi Fushiguro, Choso, Maki Zenin, and Yuki Tsukumo also make appearances. The content hints at the start of a new arc following the Shibuya Incident.

Furthermore, it was announced in the final title card that "Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident Special Edited Version" × "Culling Game Advance Screening" will have a theatrical release on November 7. In addition to the first-ever theater screening of the Shibuya Incident as a specially edited version, the world premiere of Episodes 1 and 2 of Season 3 will take place ahead of the official broadcast. The newly drawn key visual by MAPPA features Yūji Itadori clenching his fist and Yuta Okkotsu wielding his sword against a backdrop of a devastated Shibuya, hinting at a clash between the two.

In addition, three new pieces of information were announced during the special program. In December, the "Jujutsu Kaisen Animation Exhibition" will be held in Ikebukuro. The mobile game "Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade" released a teaser PV for its original story, the "Cursed Prison Island Arc." Furthermore, a grand finale event for the 5th anniversary, "JujuFes," is scheduled to take place in the summer of 2026.
