"Okarun and Aira Overwhelmed by the Composers in the Music Room and Attempt to Leave" Takes the Top Spot! The Top 3 Most Commented Scenes from Episode 20 of the Anime "DANDADAN"

On the official ABEMA Anime Channel X, the top 3 most commented scenes from episode 20 (season 2, episode 8) of "DANDADAN," titled "Hang in There, Okarun," have been announced.

"DANDADAN" is based on a popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). It tells the occultic battle and coming-of-age story of Momo, a high school girl born into a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast, as they face looming supernatural phenomena.

When the first season of the TV anime aired in October 2024, its unique battles centered around the theme of the occult and its deep storyline quickly became a hot topic, with the cumulative circulation of the original manga surpassing 10 million copies. The second season has been airing since July 2025, drawing significant attention to new battles involving Momo, Okarun, and their friends.

ABEMA conducted an independent survey of viewer comments from the broadcast of episode 20 (season 2, episode 8) of "Dandadan," which aired late at night on August 21 (Thursday). The results were published as "Top 3 Most Commented Scenes from Episode 20 of 'Dandadan'" on the official ABEMA Anime Channel X.
