The movie 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' has broken through 31.4 billion yen in box office revenue in just 52 days of release, surpassing the 'Mugen Train Arc' and recording the fastest 30 billion breakthrough in Japanese movie history.

The cumulative box office revenue for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Part 1: The Return of Akaza," which has been showing in theaters nationwide since July 18, has surpassed approximately 31.4 billion yen in 52 days since its release. The film has drawn an audience of 22,007,405 people, grossing 31,425,916,900 yen. It ranks as the third highest-grossing film in Japan's box office history, breaking the record previously held by "Mugen Train" and setting a new record as the fastest film in Japanese cinema history to surpass 30 billion yen.

The anime "Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba" is an animated adaptation of the manga of the same name serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The anime broadcast in April 2019 sparked a social phenomenon, and the cumulative number of copies of the 23 volumes of the comic book exceeded 220 million.

The follow-up to the first TV anime series "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc," "Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train," depicted the "Mugen Train Arc" and achieved a total box office revenue of approximately 51.7 billion yen, ranking first in Japan's box office history. From 2021 to 2022, the TV anime "Mugen Train Arc" and "Entertainment District Arc" were broadcasted and streamed. "The first chapter of the 'Infinity Castle Arc' recorded an audience of 3.84 million and a box office revenue of 5.52 billion yen in the first three days of its release, breaking the all-time records for opening, first day, and single day performances. It surpassed approximately 12.87 billion yen in the first 10 days of its release. The achievement of surpassing 10 billion yen in just 8 days from the release is the fastest in the history of movies screened in Japan, updating the record of "Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train", which surpassed 10 billion yen in 10 days of its release in October 2020, and has become the all-time No.1."

Starting from August 15th, the film started screening in MX4D and 4DX. On September 3rd, the 5th key visual was released, depicting a confrontation between Zenitsu Agatsuma (CV: Hiro Shimono) and Upper Rank Six, Kaigaku (CV: Yoshimasa Hosoya). On September 6th, a 'Thank you for the release' stage greeting event was held, where the recording secrets of the "Kasugai Crows" of the Demon Slayer Corps were revealed.
