The original work, created by Maybe, is a manga of the same name currently serialized in Monthly Big Gangan (published by Square Enix). The story follows the protagonist, Satō, who follows his childhood friend Hime to another world and becomes the heroic "Ring King" by marrying five "Ring Princesses" to confront the world's threats—depicting a "newlywed fantasy in another world." The TV anime's first season aired in 2024, and the second season is set to begin airing on October 4, 2025.
