Young Jin Kōgasaki Learns His Father Killed His Mother and Sister Takes 1st Place! Top 3 Most Commented Scenes from Tougen Anki Episode 17

ABEMA Anime's official X account has announced the Top 3 Most Commented Scenes from the broadcast of Tougen Anki Episode 17, titled "Oni of Resentment" (Urami no Oni).

Tougen Anki is a manga series by Yura Urushibara, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) since 2020. Based on the widely known Japanese folktale of "Momotaro" (Peach Boy), it is a dark hero tale for a new generation, depicting the conflict between those who inherit the blood of Oni (demons) and those who inherit the blood of Momotaro, but told from the perspective of the Oni side.

The profound story, weaving together the descendants of Oni and Momotaro, has gained immense popularity, with over 3 million copies of the comics in circulation. The first TV anime adaptation began airing in July 2025, featuring a stellar cast including Kazuki Ura as the protagonist Shiki Ichinose, alongside Hiroshi Kamiya, Kōtarō Nishiyama, and Manaka Iwami, drawing even more attention to the long-awaited TV adaptation.

ABEMA conducted its own survey of scenes that garnered the most comments from viewers during the broadcast of Tougen Anki Episode 17, "Oni of Resentment," late on Friday, November 7th. The results were published on the ABEMA Anime official X account as the "Tougen Anki Episode 17 Top 3 Most Commented Scenes."
