Cosplayer Yuno Yukimura posted photos on X. Together with fellow cosplayer Amani, they revealed cosplay shots from 'The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity', and the high level of accuracy has become a major topic of conversation online.
In the published images, the two are captured wearing the uniforms of Kikyou Girls' High School, a prestigious all-girls school that appears in the series. The two, dressed as the heroine Kaoruko Waguri (CV: Honoka Inoue), whose trademark is her soft long hair with a headband, and her silver-haired, long-haired friend Subaru Hoshina (CV: Aya Yamane), are shown nestling close to each other and gently smiling at one another, perfectly capturing their relationship in the series. It's a photo that conveys a sense of transparency, as if they jumped straight out of the manga world, and the love for the characters.
'The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity' is a manga currently serialized on "Magazine Pocket," the official app of Weekly Shonen Magazine. It's a vibrant coming-of-age school story woven by Rintaro Tsumugi, an innocent boy who attends an all-boys school full of idiots, and Kaoruko Waguri, a straightforward girl who attends a prestigious all-girls school. The TV anime version, which began airing in July, has garnered attention for its delicate animation produced by CloverWorks.
In response to this post, fans have flooded the comments with praise such as "The best collaboration ever!", "Characters from the original have appeared in real life, the best work", "The worldview is exactly the same, amazing!", "Their closeness is too precious", and "Too cute".
