'Yona of the Dawn' Concludes! Approximately 16 Years of Serialization & Final Chapter is Episode 276, Sequel Anime Production Announced in 'Hana to Yume' Issue 2

The manga 'Yona of the Dawn' by Mizuho Kusanagi has reached its final chapter and concluded with Issue 2 of 'Hana to Yume' released on December 19th. The series was serialized for approximately 16 years with a total of 276 episodes. Additionally, it was announced that the production of a sequel anime for the series has been decided.

'Yona of the Dawn' is an epic fantasy about Princess Yona of the Kingdom of Kouka who grows while confronting her harsh fate. The series has garnered significant support as a long-running serialized work. Issue 2 of 'Hana to Yume' features the series on its cover and opening color pages, and includes a bonus "Completion Commemorative Acrylic Stand" with an original illustration by Kusanagi. The magazine also includes the results of the previously held "Memorable Scene Contest" and a giveaway campaign for acrylic plates with reproduced signatures using the opening color pages.

Furthermore, coinciding with the publication of the final chapter, the production of a sequel anime for 'Yona of the Dawn' has been decided. Detailed content and broadcast schedule will be announced in future updates.

As for future developments, it has been decided that Volume 47 of the comic will be released on February 20th, 2026. In addition to the regular edition, a special edition will also be released, which includes an art book "YONA MEMORIAL Illustration Collection" containing previously unreleased illustrations.

Additionally, it was announced that a side story of 'Yona of the Dawn' will be specially featured in Issue 6 of 'Hana to Yume' released on the same day.
