Yuta Okkotsu Suddenly Attacks as Yuji Itadori's Executioner... Anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" Episodes 48 & 49 Cuts and Synopsis Released

Advanced cuts and synopsis for Episodes 48 (Season 3 Episode 1) and 49 (Season 3 Episode 2), marking the beginning of Season 3, have been released from the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen."

"Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the comic by Gege Akutami, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), which has surpassed 150 million copies in cumulative circulation (including digital editions). It was adapted into a TV anime starting in 2020, and the 2021 film "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" recorded a worldwide box office revenue of 26.5 billion yen. In 2023, TV anime Season 2 "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death & The Shibuya Incident" was broadcast. In 2025, the release of "Jujutsu Kaisen The Movie: Compilation - Hidden Inventory/Premature Death" and revival screenings of past works are being developed.

Starting January 8, 2026, TV anime Season 3 "The Culling Game Part 1" will be broadcast simultaneously nationwide every Thursday at 0:26 AM on 28 MBS/TBS affiliated stations in the "Super Animeism TURBO" time slot. The first episode will be broadcast as a one-hour special on Thursday, January 8 at 0:26 AM.
