Special program for the anime "Chained Soldier" Season 2 featuring Yuya Hirose, Akari Kito, and more to air on January 7, followed by a marathon broadcast of Season 1.

ABEMA will exclusively broadcast a special program for "Chained Soldier" Season 2 titled "Chained Soldier Season 2: Reach the Demon City!! Everyone's Party Live Topa Pre-Broadcast Special." The show will air for free on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 9:00 PM (JST), just one day before the premiere of the first episode.

"Chained Soldier Season 2" is an anime series based on the manga written by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemura, currently serialized on Shueisha’s "Shonen Jump+." The story is a battle fantasy following Yuki Wakura, a high school student looking for a place to shine, who dives into battle as the slave and caretaker for Kyoka Uzen—the Captain of the 7th Unit of the "Anti-Demon Corps," an all-female elite fighting force. Following the first season that aired in 2024, Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in January 2026.

The upcoming special program will feature five main cast members, including Yuya Hirose (Yuki Wakura), Akari Kito (Kyoka Uzen), Yume Miyamoto (Himari Azuma), Mari Hino (Shushu Suruga), and Hina Tachibana (Nei Okawamura). The program will include a recap of the story leading up to the Season 2 premiere, as well as special talk segments related to the series.

Additionally, a free marathon of all Season 1 episodes will be held starting at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 7, just before the special program airs. All episodes will remain available to stream for free for one week following the broadcast.

Furthermore, the main episodes of "Chained Soldier" Season 2 will begin an exclusive early streaming release on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 24:30, immediately following the terrestrial TV broadcast. Subsequently, the latest episodes are scheduled to be available for free for one week every Sunday at 24:30.
