7 Million Copies in Circulation! 'The Dangers in My Heart' Announces Final Volume Next! Latest Volume 13 and Spin-off 'Love Comedy ga Hajimaranai' Released Simultaneously

The latest volume 13 of the manga 'The Dangers in My Heart', currently serialized on Akita Shoten's web manga site "Champion Cross", was released on January 8th. In the afterword at the end of this volume, author Norio Sakurai announced that the series will conclude with the next volume, volume 14.

'The Dangers in My Heart' is a coming-of-age romantic comedy depicting the interactions between an introverted boy, Kyotaro Ichikawa (CV: Shun Horie), and a beautiful girl, Anna Yamada (CV: Hina Yomiya). The series has won numerous manga awards, including 1st place in the "Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho 2020 Web Manga Division" and 1st place in the "5th Minna ga Erabu TSUTAYA Comic Taisho", and has currently surpassed 7 million copies in circulation. Following TV anime broadcasts in 2023 and 2024, a theatrical film release nationwide has also been decided for February 13th.

In the afterword of volume 13 released today, Sakurai commented, "Ichikawa and Yamada's middle school life is almost over... the next volume will finally be the final volume," indicating that the story of these two characters, watched over by readers, is reaching its climax.

Additionally, volume 1 of the official spin-off manga 'Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu Love Comedy ga Hajimaranai' (Original Story: Norio Sakurai / Manga: Haika Nanasaka) was also released simultaneously today. This work features Kana, Kyotaro Ichikawa's older sister, as the main character.

In conjunction with the new volume releases, "Champion Cross" has started a campaign offering free access to episodes 1 through 100 of 'The Dangers in My Heart', and various e-book stores are also holding discount fairs.
