The synopsis and advance cuts for Episode 2 of the anime "Sentenced to Be a Hero: Penal Hero Squad 9004 Prison Records" have been released.

"Sentenced to Be a Hero" is based on a light novel by Rocket Shokai. It has successively won awards such as the "Kakuyomu Award 2020," "Tsugi ni Kuru Light Novel Taisho 2021," and "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2023." In September 2021, Volume 1 of the book (illustrated by Mephisto) was published by Dengeki no Shin Bungei (KADOKAWA).
