The serialization of Kouji Seo’s new manga, Umine the Island Inn, launched in this year’s 7th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), released on January 14.

The new series arrives just two months after the conclusion of Seo’s previous work, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses. It is a romantic comedy packed with every "boy’s dream"—from island living and a traditional house full of beautiful women to treasure hunting. To bring this project to life, Seo and the editorial team went all out with extensive on-site research on a remote island, making this a truly high-effort, passionate new release.

Additionally, the 22nd and final volume of The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses is scheduled for release on January 16. To mark the occasion, a massive poster announcing both the series' conclusion and the launch of the new manga will be displayed at Gokokuji Station, the nearest station to the publisher's headquarters.

To celebrate the launch of the new series, the manga app "Magapoke" will be holding a special campaign. For 72 hours only—from January 14 to January 16—Seo's previous work, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses, will be available to read for free in its entirety, excluding the final volume.
