Xylo Attempts to Escape from the Mine Tunnel... Anime "Sentenced to Be a Hero" Episode 3 Synopsis & Advance Cuts Released

The synopsis and advance cuts for Episode 3 of the anime "Sentenced to Be a Hero: Penal Hero Squad 9004 Prison Records" have been released.

"Sentenced to Be a Hero" is based on a light novel by Rocket Shokai. It has successively won awards such as the "Kakuyomu Award 2020," "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! Award 2021," and "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2023." Volume 1 of the book (illustrated by Mephisto) was published in September 2021 by Dengeki no Shinbungei (KADOKAWA).

Xylo Forbartz (CV: Yōhei Azakami), a former Holy Knight Commander sentenced to hero punishment, leads a penal hero squad composed of personality-deficient individuals, charging through the frontlines of battle. In harsh circumstances, Xylo encounters one of the strongest bioweapons, the Sword Goddess Teoritta (CV: Mayu Iizuka). To survive, to achieve revenge against those who entrapped him—Xylo makes a contract with the Goddess and plunges into the midst of fierce struggle and conspiracy in a world of despair.
