Scene cuts have arrived from 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea', which will be released on Friday, February 27th.

'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' is a work of the same name by Taiki Kawakami, Fuse, and Mitz Vah, with the series' cumulative circulation surpassing 56 million copies worldwide. The anime's cumulative viewing count has exceeded 3 billion times, and it has recorded 1 billion page views on "Shousetsuka ni Narou," boasting high popularity over many years.

This work is a completely original story following the first theatrical film, with original creator Fuse handling the original concept and full supervision. The director is Yasuhito Kikuchi, who worked on 'Macross F' and 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond'. Set in the "sea" for the first time in the series, it depicts Rimuru and his companions getting caught up in new adventures and conspiracies.

The story takes place in the underwater nation of "Kaien Kingdom," which worships the Water Dragon as its guardian deity. After completing the founding festival of the Jura Tempest Federation, Rimuru and his companions, who had visited a resort island at the invitation of Elmesia, the Emperor of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion, meet Yura, a priestess of Kaien Kingdom. She had come to the surface to seek help to save the Water Dragon and her country from the conspiracies swirling within the nation. In Kaien Kingdom, Djeese, called a genius prime minister, was advancing a certain scheme using a flute called the "Dragon's Fang" that awakens the Water Dragon, the guardian deity of the country. Meanwhile, Minister Zodon, under Djeese's orders, pursues Yura. Having received a request from Elmesia, Rimuru and his companions head to the ocean floor to save Yura and restore peace to the azure sea.

This time, scene cuts have been released revealing the appearances of protagonist Rimuru Tempest (CV: Miho Okasaki), as well as Gobta (CV: Asuna Tomari), Zodon (CV: Koichi Domoto), Yura (CV: Saori Ōnishi), Djeese (CV: Kōji Yusa), Mio (CV: Nao Kosaka [Hinatazaka46]), Yori (CV: Kaho Fujishima), and others. From the released visuals, one can sense the grand story in the underwater kingdom and the premonition of new threats approaching Rimuru and his companions.
