Kasamachi Visits Makio and Asa... Anime "Journal with Witch" Episode 4 Synopsis & Advance Cuts Released

The synopsis and advance cuts for Episode 4 of the anime "Journal with Witch" have been released.

The original work is the comic "Journal with Witch" by Tomoko Yamashita, which was serialized in "FEEL YOUNG" (Shodensha) from 2017 to 2023 and has surpassed a cumulative circulation of 2.05 million copies. It depicts the trial-and-error cohabitation life of Makio Kōdai (CV. Miyuki Sawashiro), a shy novelist, and her niece Asa Takumi (CV. Fūko Mori), a girl who has lost both her parents.

This acclaimed series continues to be beloved by many readers even after its serialization ended, having won 4th place in "Manga Taisho 2019," 5th place in the Women's category of "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2024," and 1st place in the Da Vinci "BOOK OF THE YEAR 2023" comic ranking. It is currently airing on terrestrial broadcast every Sunday at 24:00.

[Synopsis]
Kasamachi visits Makio and Asa, bringing sukiyaki meat with him. Asa becomes curious about the relationship between Makio and Kasamachi, who is a different kind of "adult" from Makio and Daigo. At her high school entrance ceremony, she spends enjoyable time with Emiri and her friends, but some things don't quite work out. Placed in yet another new environment and becoming aware of her current situation, the bewilderment Asa feels is met with words from Makio reaching out to her.
