Anime "Medalist" Season 2 Non-Credit Opening & Ending Videos Released! HANA and Conton Candy Perform Theme Songs

From TV anime "Medalist" Season 2, non-credit videos of the opening theme song and ending theme song, along with respective scene cuts, have been released.

"Medalist" is a hot topic work whose original manga won 1st place in the Comics category of "Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho 2022" and received numerous awards including the General category at the "48th Kodansha Manga Award." A theatrical film release has also been confirmed for 2027. TV anime Season 2 began broadcasting on TV Asahi's "NUMAnimation" slot and other channels starting January 24th.

The opening theme song "Cold Night" performed by HANA is a cheering song that stands by and encourages people working hard toward their dreams, creating a finish that links with the opening video. Meanwhile, the ending theme song "Rookies" by Conton Candy is a youth rock anthem that warmly walks together arm-in-arm. The video features direction that evokes moments from the daily lives of the main characters.

Additionally, theme song release information has been announced: HANA's "Cold Night" has been available for streaming since January 24th, with the CD being released on January 28th. Conton Candy's "Rookies" began streaming on January 25th, with a CD release scheduled for March 4th.
