ABEMA Anime's official X account has announced the Top 3 most-commented scenes during the broadcast of Episode 2 "First Date!" of the anime "You and I Are Polar Opposites."
"You and I Are Polar Opposites" is based on the romantic comedy manga by Agasawa Tea, serialized on "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). The series depicts two "polar opposites": Suzuki, an energetic girl who tends to worry about what others think, and Tani, a quiet boy who clearly expresses his opinions. The story follows their journey as they slowly deepen their understanding of each other while respecting and understanding one another, alongside their school life with friends.
Garnering reader support as a "relatable romantic comedy" that empathizes with the delicate emotions unique to adolescence, the series has gained significant attention, being nominated for numerous manga awards including the Grand Prize at the "4th Magademy Awards." The first anime adaptation, starting in January 2026, is also attracting considerable interest.
