Itadori and Fushiguro Infiltrate the "Gachinko Fight Club Tournament"... Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 52 Preview Images and Synopsis Revealed

From the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, the preview images and synopsis for Episode 52 (Season 3, Episode 5) have been released.

Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the hit manga by Gege Akutami, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), with over 150 million copies in circulation (including digital editions). The TV anime adaptation began in 2020, followed by the 2021 release of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which recorded a massive 26.5 billion yen in worldwide box office revenue. In 2023, the second season, featuring the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident" arcs, was broadcast. The momentum continued into 2025 with the theatrical release of the compilation film JUJUTSU KAISEN: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death – The Movie.

The series will be broadcast nationwide simultaneously across 28 TBS-affiliated stations on the "Super Animeism TURBO" block.

Episode 52: "Heat"
【Synopsis】
Following the Shibuya Incident, Yaga has been sentenced to death. Before him appear an assassin and Gakuganji. Meanwhile, Itadori and Fushiguro leave the Star Corridor and head to an underground gambling ring to seek help from Kinji Hakari, a suspended third-year Jujutsu High student. Since Hakari is on bad terms with the higher-ups, the two must conceal their identities and go undercover in the "Gachinko Fight Club Tournament" to avoid being recognized as jujutsu sorcerers.
