It has been announced that "Sanrio Exhibition FINAL ver. 60 Years of Japan's Kawaii Culture" will be held at the Mori Arts Center Gallery.
This exhibition is a powered-up version of the "Sanrio Exhibition," which has been touring various locations throughout Japan since 2021 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Sanrio Co., Ltd.'s founding, featuring new content. As the "FINAL ver.," it will be returning to Tokyo's Roppongi.
At the venue, visitors will be able to trace Sanrio's history spanning over 60 years, while also gaining deep insights into how "Kawaii" culture has evolved and the "Sanrio Spirit" behind it, presented alongside precious designs and products.
This will be the largest scale opening in "Sanrio Exhibition" history, featuring as many as 200 characters in the display. The number of popular Sanrio goods that have been part of people's lives from the past to the present will also be significantly increased. Through characters and goods, the exhibition will introduce the diverse forms of "Kawaii" that the company has cultivated.
Additionally, new content exclusive to the "FINAL ver." that allows visitors to learn more deeply about the characters is planned to be added. Details will be announced soon.
