New Attraction "Jujutsu Kaisen: The Real 4-D" Opens at USJ! Meu Hata Extremely Excited: "Itadori and Fushiguro Were Right in Front of Me"

Universal Studios Japan has launched the event "Universal Cool Japan 2026," which includes a new attraction in collaboration with the popular anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," starting Friday, January 30th. Prior to this, a press preview and opening ceremony were held on January 29th, with actress Meu Hata appearing as a special guest.

The newly debuted attraction "JUJUTSU KAISEN: The Real 4-D — Clock Tower of Recurrence" is a theater show attraction that allows visitors to experience the battles of jujutsu sorcerers with overwhelming realism through powerful 3D visuals and special effects (4-D) such as wind pressure, vibrations, and water spray. The completely original new story features Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, as well as Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto from their high school days, as they engage in fierce battles against massive cursed spirits.

Meu Hata, who experienced the attraction ahead of its opening, exclaimed with great excitement, "I was extremely thrilled! The visuals and sound were of such high quality, and when Itadori and Fushiguro appeared right in front of me, I couldn't help but reach out my hand!" She enthusiastically described the immersive experience, saying, "Their action unfolds right up close, so the sense of realism was incredible and I was super moved! The sound and visuals are so powerful that they really energize you!"

Additionally, a collaboration with the roller coaster "Hollywood Dream: The Ride" called "Jujutsu Kaisen × Story Ride" is also being held concurrently. The first installment, "Cursed Spirit Train," allows visitors to board a runaway train possessed by cursed spirits and experience the thrill of rushing through intense battles alongside Itadori and others.
