A special program for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: "The Culling Game Arc (Part 1)" will be broadcast for free on ABEMA, starting at 7:30 PM on Sunday, March 22.
Based on Gege Akutami’s blockbuster manga serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen tells the story of Yuji Itadori. After consuming a high-grade cursed object—the finger of Ryomen Sukuna—Itadori finds his soul harboring a powerful curse. The series follows his journey as he throws himself into the brutal and relentless battle between Jujutsu Sorcerers and Cursed Spirits.
With its profound world-building, gritty storyline, and intense battle scenes, Jujutsu Kaisen has gained massive popularity, with the manga surpassing 150 million copies in circulation (including digital editions). Following the TV anime broadcasts in October 2020 and July 2023, the franchise’s first movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0—a prequel to the main series—was released in December 2021. It became a global phenomenon, recording a worldwide box office gross of 26.5 billion yen and attracting over 20.51 million viewers worldwide. On ABEMA, the latest episodes of the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Arc (Part 1) are currently broadcasting for free every week.
The special program will feature a star-studded lineup of six voice actors—the largest cast ever for a Jujutsu Kaisen special—including Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), Mikako Komatsu (Maki Zen'in), Marina Inoue (Mai Zen'in), Kazuya Nakai (Kinji Hakari), and Yutaka Aoyama (Reggie Star). During the broadcast, the cast will engage in a talk session reflecting on each battle in synchronization with the episode progression.
