Celebrating the Release of Volume 11 & Anime Adaptation of "Firefly Wedding"! Original Illustration by Oreko Tachibana Displayed at Shinjuku Station

To commemorate the release of the latest volume 11 and the anime adaptation of the romantic suspense comic "Firefly Wedding," an original illustration advertisement is being displayed at Tokyo Metro Shinjuku Station, and novelty items are being distributed at participating bookstores nationwide.

"Firefly Wedding" is a passionate love story by original author Oreko Tachibana, set in the Meiji era, depicting a contract marriage between Satoko Kirigaya, a daughter of a prestigious family, and Shinpei Goto, an assassin who adores her obsessively. Serialized on Shogakukan's comic app "Manga ONE," the series concluded its final chapter in January 2026. With cumulative circulation exceeding 3.5 million copies, it won the grand prize at Comic Seymour's "Digital Comic Awards 2024" and has garnered high popularity, with an anime adaptation also confirmed.

The advertisement unveiled at Shinjuku Station features an original episode titled "The Bridge of Matchmaking" drawn by original author Oreko Tachibana, depicting a scene from the daily life of Satoko and Shinpei. This illustration is being released earliest through this advertisement display, and the same episode is scheduled to be updated on Manga ONE on Monday, March 16.

The advertisement will be displayed from Monday, February 23, 2026, through Sunday, March 1, at "Shinjuku Station Metro Promenade," the passage outside the ticket gates connecting the East and West ticket gates of Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line Shinjuku Station.

Additionally, starting from February 19, a "Firefly Wedding" novelty fair is being held at participating bookstores nationwide. For each volume of the series purchased at participating fair bookstores, one sticker (from a total of 4 designs) with etching processing will be distributed.
