Smartphone App 'Chiikawa Pocket' to Hold "Shop Owner Event" Starting February 24th, New Costumes Added

The first smartphone app for "Chiikawa," 'Chiikawa Pocket' (hereafter referred to as 'Chiipoke'), will launch the "Shop Owner Event" starting February 24th, with new costumes being released alongside it. Additionally, a campaign commemorating the event will be held on the official 'Chiipoke' X account.

This title is a smartphone game application based on the popular manga series "Chiikawa," which illustrator Nagano posts on X (formerly Twitter). With the concept of "Always Together with Chiikawa, Anywhere, Anytime," it's packed with gameplay that allows players to experience the worldview of "Chiikawa." As of March 27th, 2025, it has been distributed in 43 countries and regions worldwide, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, and the United States.

"Shop Owner" Event and Costume Additions in 'Chiikawa Pocket'

In this Shop Owner Event, by progressing through the event pass, players can acquire shop owner-themed "costumes" for Kurimanjuu, as well as obtain the home item "Flower Shop," where Chiikawa characters in shop owner costumes will come to visit. Additionally, as a login bonus, players can acquire "Location: Lively Shopping Street," where home items can be placed.

Furthermore, participants who post their impressions on X will be entered into a lottery to win "Chiipoke Memos," with 50 winners being selected.
