What Proposal Did Uobuchi Make to Tsukasa... Anime "Medalist" Episode 21 Synopsis and Preview Cuts Released, Special Event Featuring Natsumi Haruse and Others Confirmed

Preview cuts, synopsis, and a trailer for Season 2 Episode 8 (Overall Episode 21) of the anime "Medalist" have been released. Additionally, it has been announced that a special event will be held on Sunday, August 30th.

"Medalist" is based on the manga by Tsurumaikada, serialized in Kodansha's "Monthly Afternoon." The story follows Inori Yuitsuka (CV: Natsumi Haruse) and Tsukasa Akeuraji (CV: Takeo Ōtsuka), who meet as "athlete and coach" with strong dreams of figure skating, as they aim for the glory of becoming "medalists." The TV anime Season 2 is currently airing on TV Asahi's nationwide 24-station network in the "NUMAnimation" slot and other platforms, starting from January 24, 2026.

The special event will feature six cast members: Natsumi Haruse, Takeo Ōtsuka, Kana Ichinose, Natsuko Abe, Taito Ban, and Emiri Katō. Priority ticket purchase vouchers for the event will be included as first-press bonuses in "Medalist" Season 2 Blu-ray & DVD vol.1 and vol.2. ■Episode 21 "Hot-Blooded" Synopsis:
Inori and Tsukasa reunite with Uobuchi in Niigata. Uobuchi immediately begins correcting Inori's jumps, while simultaneously handing a harness to Tsukasa and pointing out areas for improvement for both of them while giving advice. Meanwhile, Uobuchi makes a new proposal to Tsukasa.
