"The Apothecary Diaries" First Official Recipe Book "Maomao's Recipe Collection" Set for Release on May 13th, Features Original Short Story

From "The Apothecary Diaries," the first official recipe book "The Apothecary Diaries: Maomao's Recipe Collection" will be released on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026.

This book features recipes for dishes from the story, including the chocolate that Maomao made at Jinshi's request to "make an aphrodisiac," and the ice cream that symbolized her friendship with Xiaolan and Shisui, all developed under the complete supervision of original author Hyuganatsu. Readers can actually "make" and "taste" the flavors that appeared in the story.

Furthermore, an original short story written by Hyuganatsu will be specially included. This volume allows readers to enjoy both the pleasure of reading and the joy of cooking while savoring stories that expand around food.

Additionally, some recipes have been released in advance on the web, and this book introduces all 23 dishes, including previously unreleased recipes, with detailed step-by-step photos. The cover illustration is an original work by Shino Touko.

Also, in conjunction with the book's announcement on March 12th, a new recipe "Moonlit Night Sky Jelly" was unveiled. For the first time, this recipe appears not as a dish from the story, but as one that expresses a famous scene from the work.
