Preview images and the synopsis for Season 2, Episode 9 (Episode 37 overall), "Himmel's Autobiography," from the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" have been released.

The original work is a manga of the same name currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday." Set in a world after the defeat of the Demon King, the story follows Frieren (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki), a mage who has lived for over a thousand years, as she embarks on a "journey to understand humans" triggered by the death of the hero Himmel (CV: Nobuhiko Okamoto). The second season of the anime began broadcasting on the Nippon TV network from January 16th, airing every Friday at 11:00 PM. It is also available for free streaming on ABEMA from midnight on the same day.

[Synopsis]
A man's village tormented by the threat of a flight of dragons, yet he refuses to abandon his home. And a port town by the vast Lake Corridor. During their journey, Frieren and her party visit various places. When trying to take a ferry across Lake Corridor, they find themselves short on the boat fare, and the boatman offers them a condition. That condition is to find "Himmel's Autobiography" resting in an island monastery.
