Preview images, the synopsis, and a preview video for the final episode of Season 2, Episode 9 (Episode 22 overall), of the anime "Medalist" have been released. It was also announced that a special event will be held at Tokyo Dream Park on Saturday, March 28th, starting at 7:00 PM.

"Medalist" is based on the manga by Tsurumaikada, currently serialized in Kodansha's "Monthly Afternoon". It is the story of Inori Yuitsuka (CV. Natsumi Haruse) and Tsukasa Akeuraji (CV. Takeo Otsuka), who meet as "skater and coach" with an intense dream for figure skating, aiming for the glory of becoming "medalists." The second season of the TV anime has been broadcasting on the "NUMAnimation" programming block across the 24-station TV Asahi network and other channels since January 24, 2026.

The special event, "'Medalist' DREAM Lanterns by Kandenko," will feature appearances by Natsumi Haruse and Takeo Otsuka. Details, including information on numbered admission tickets, can be found on the official website.

■ Episode 22 "Opening" Synopsis:
Miku Ahiru secured 2nd place in the regional block competition point rankings, beating out the seeded skaters. She is based in Niigata, where Inori and the others are visiting this time, and her coach Kohei Kamogawa and choreographer Juna Shiratori were Tsukasa's former clubmates and senior skaters.
