The synopsis and advance cuts for Episode 1 of the anime "Kirio Fan Club" have been released.

The series is based on the one-way love comedy manga by Chikyu no Osakana Pon-chan, which was serialized in "COMIC Ruel" (Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha) from 2022 to 2024. The story depicts high school girl Aimi Miyoshi (CV: Nene Hieda) and her classmate Nami Sometani (CV: Shion Wakayama) as they share endless delusions and expressions of love for their intriguing classmate, Ken Kirio (CV: Gakuto Kajiwara). The manga ranked 6th in the "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2024" (Women's category) and 10th in the 2025 edition, marking two consecutive years in the top 10.

The work has continued to be loved by many readers even after the serialization ended. In April 2025, it was adapted into a live-action drama and won the Galaxy Award Encouragement Prize (Television Category). Episode 1 will be broadcast nationwide simultaneously on the MBS/TBS network of 28 stations in the "Super Animeism TURBO" slot starting Thursday, April 2nd, at 12:26 AM. It will also be available for streaming on various platforms starting at 1:00 AM on the same day.
