The first key visual for the TV anime "Now That We Draw" has been unveiled.

The original work is currently serialized in "Young Animal" and "Young Animal Web," and is a hot topic that has been nominated for the "Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho" (Next Manga Award) for two consecutive years. It is a love comedy right in the middle of "dreams × youth," featuring Yuki Uehara, who deeply loves 2D and dreams of becoming a manga artist, and Niina Miyamoto, a sparkling gal from his class who also secretly dreams of becoming a manga artist.

The first key visual was initially unveiled at the special stage of "AnimeJapan 2026" held at Tokyo Big Sight on Saturday, March 28th. Ayumu Murase, who plays the protagonist Yuki Uehara, and Sayumi Suzushiro, who plays the heroine Niina Miyamoto, took the stage, and the visual was revealed as they watched over it. The new visual captures the bright and energetic gal heroine Niina and Yuki, who harbors a passion for manga, drawing manga back-to-back, making it an emotionally charged and passionate snapshot of youth.

After the visual was unveiled, the two cast members shared their "impressions when they first saw the key visual" and their "feelings toward the work." Furthermore, the stage event heightened anticipation for the anime broadcast even more as they watched the already-released teaser PV together with the fans at the venue.
