Giant Loki from ONE PIECE and Star Detective Precure! Character Panels on Display! AnimeJapan 2026 Toei Animation Exhibit Report

AnimeJapan 2026 was held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28 and 29. This event, where numerous pieces of the latest anime information were announced and stage events for various titles were held, featured over 120 booths. In this article, we bring you a report on the exhibit contents of the Toei Animation booth, one of the many highlights of the event.

Inside the booth, key visuals from various anime titles produced by Toei Animation were on display.

From the long-standing and immensely popular Dragon Ball series, there were oversized figures of Son Goku and other iconic characters.

In the corner for the latest installment of the PreCure series, Star Detective Precure!, which began airing in February, fans were treated to a must-see display featuring giant character panels as well as replica original illustrations.

Additionally, there was a section for Magical DoReMiñon, the new content from the Magical DoReMi series that began distribution on March 28, which caught the eyes of many passersby.

And for the world-renowned national anime ONE PIECE, a colossal-sized Loki made an appearance. The display was remarkably intricate; while the upper body shown on the monitor was animated, the legs extending outward were physical sculptures. Due to its sheer scale, visitors had to stand quite far back to capture the whole thing in a single frame, and it was impressive to see so many attendees gathering at a distance to take photos.
